THE CAGE
The Cage is a mobile football pitch made of steel panels that slot together to make a contained pitch. Young people play 2 against 2 and the winning team stays on. Other young people can crowd around the side of the cage to watch and also form a queue to play in the cage. This creates fast moving action and fun for young people.

Recently, the team have formed a partnership with the A690 project to deliver the Cage project in Sunderland. Due to this partnership, the team now have the opportunity to use the Cage in schools in lesson times and after schools clubs.

Outside of lessons, the Cage can also be used by the team in local youth groups, special youth events and as part of detached youth work. There is huge scope for the project and the team are looking to develop this area of work.

The Cage is incredibly popular with young people and allows the workers to have fun with young people whilst building relationships .
